Introduction to the activities of the Culinary Science Club

The Culinary Science Club, affiliated with the Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts – Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, was established on October 30, 2024, and comprises the following committees: scientific research committee, culinary committee, logistics committee, secretariat committee, finance committee, and communications committee.

With the following objectives:

  • To create a healthy learning environment that benefits students in terms of academic pursuits, research, and creativity, aiming for the goal of "well-rounded students".
  • To create an environment for students with a passion for culinary arts to gain experience.
  • To make a difference in the report writing skills of club members, to bring applied science into culinary practice, and to create an environment for students to research, practice, and network.

During the 2024-2025 academic year, the club successfully organized 8 workshop programs and 3 competitions in cooking and bartending, and collaborated with major sponsors such as Vianco, Massan, Nhat Huong, etc.

Furthermore, the club is honored that its members have achieved great success and won numerous awards from major culinary competitions such as The 2nd Vietnam Bakery Cup 2024. Green Futurechef Vietnam 2025 etc. up to student scientific research competitions at all levels.

During the 2025-2026 school year, the club plans to organize the following activities:

  • March 2026 - April 2026: Participate in the Faculty-level Student Scientific Research Competition and collaborate with the Culinary Science Department to organize the 2026 Talented Chef Competition.
  • April 2026 - May 2026: Organize activities to celebrate April 30th/May 1st and a workshop on Mother's Day.
  • May 2026 - September 2026: Charitable activities - Organizing volunteer work and distributing gifts to children on June 1st and Mid-Autumn Festival.
  • September 2026 - November 2026: Recruitment of new members and free workshop topics to welcome new members.
  • November 2026 - December 2026: Club year-end review and organization of activities to express gratitude to teachers.

The Culinary Science Club always welcomes new members to join and together build memorable achievements and successes. All updates regarding workshop announcements or competition announcements will be posted as soon as possible on the Culinary Science Club's Facebook page.
