History Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts
The Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, was established in August 2019 through the merger of two faculties: the Faculty of Tourism and the Faculty of Nutrition and Culinary Arts. To date, alongside the development of the University, the Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts has continuously grown in all aspects and always prioritizes the quality of education. The Faculty has been and continues to train a team of highly qualified professionals in the fields of Hotel and Restaurant Management, Tourism and Travel, and Nutrition and Culinary Arts, aiming to meet the demand for high-quality human resources in both domestic and international markets.
Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts
The Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts offers six undergraduate programs: (1) Hotel Management, (2) Restaurant and Food Service Management, (3) Tourism and Travel Service Management, (4) Tourism, (5) Nutrition and Culinary Sciences, and (6) Culinary Arts. We must also mention the enthusiastic and dedicated faculty and staff who are wholeheartedly committed to the cause of education and training.
Currently, the Faculty's leadership team is being restructured to align with the Faculty's and the university's development. The Faculty also includes 42 full-time lecturers, 8 visiting lecturers, and 7 support staff.

Alongside a continuously updated and innovative curriculum to suit the country's economic development and global integration, the Faculty also focuses on developing relationships with businesses, government departments, and international relations.
Students of the Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts study in a professional environment, are provided with knowledge and skills by a dynamic faculty, and undertake internships at major tourism businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and many businesses in other provinces and cities. In addition, students participate in fun, beneficial, and intellectually stimulating extracurricular activities.
Students of the Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts participate in internships and practical experiences at businesses.
