Students from the Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts (HUIT) enter tourism culture incubator interviews

The Tourism Culture Talent Incubator Project has completed its Top 100 Interview Round and is preparing to announce the 40 outstanding contestants who will advance to the next stage of this year’s program.

In line with the incubator’s educational mission, students from the Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) joined the project with a strong spirit of learning and professional development. Throughout the training phase, they completed 30 e-learning modules and 10 live online sessions.

Beyond gaining new knowledge, the students had the opportunity to learn from lecturers and experts from across the country, each bringing different perspectives, professional experiences, and approaches to tourism and culture. By the end of the training stage, participants had developed a broader and more dynamic understanding of Vietnam’s tourism and cultural landscape.

This year, six HUIT students were selected among the Top 100 interviewees, marking a notable achievement for the Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts. More than 20 students from the Faculty initially took part in the incubator project.

The six students advancing to the Top 100 are:

1.    Phạm Đỗ Quyên

2.    Nguyễn Thị Kim Tuyền

3.    Lê Thị Yến Vy

4.    Nguyễn Thị Mộng Tươi

5.    Trần Lê Uyên

6.    Nguyễn Phát Tài

The result also represents a new milestone for HUIT. In only its second year of participation in the Tourism Culture Talent Incubator Project, the Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts has placed HUIT among the 10 universities with the highest number of students represented in the Top 100.

During the Top 100 Interview Round, contestants will demonstrate their competencies across several areas. Their language skills will be assessed through a self-introduction, their knowledge through an oral question-and-answer session, and their soft skills and personal strengths through a talent presentation.

From the Top 100, the judging panel will select 40 outstanding contestants to advance to the final round of the Tourism Culture Ambassador Contest. The official list of finalists is scheduled to be announced on August 24, 2026.
