On the morning of May 10, 2026, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) officially hosted the closing ceremony of the 2026 Trade Union Sports Festival at the Da Phi Co Sports Complex. After more than a month of intense competition, the event concluded, leaving a profound mark of sportsmanship and solidarity among the university's staff, lecturers, and employees.

This year's festival boasted an impressive scale, drawing nearly 500 athletes from 35 trade union units across the institution. Participants competed in 10 diverse events, including badminton, pickleball, football, volleyball, table tennis, electronic shooting, tug-of-war, sack racing, slow cycling, and Chinese chess.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented awards to top-performing individuals and teams. Among the honorees, Hoang Minh Dong and Pham Van Thinh—representing the Faculty of Applied Science and the Faculty of Tourism and Culinary Arts, respectively—secured the Third Prize in the Management Men's Doubles Badminton event.
